Kassiyet Arts offers structured Bharatanatyam training for adult dancers seeking strong technique, repertoire, musical understanding and continued artistic growth.
Regular Academy training is currently conducted online, with focused in-person training offered in New York approximately once every five months.
Students may join as beginners or with previous Bharatanatyam experience. After enrollment, dancers are placed into the training batch most appropriate to their background and current stage of practice.

HOW TRAINING WORKS
Regular training is online, with in-person New York training approximately every five months.
FOUNDATION (Beginner)
For beginners and dancers wishing to rebuild fundamentals. Focus on adavus, posture, coordination, rhythm, strength, introductory repertoire and basic theory.
DEVELOPMENT (Intermediate)
For dancers with an established technical foundation who are beginning to work more deeply with repertoire, musicality and abhinaya.
ADVANCED STUDY
For experienced dancers with substantial repertoire and technical training. Focus on refinement, advanced repertoire, interpretation, stamina, abhinaya and performance practice.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
For advanced and professional dancers seeking continued mentorship, repertoire coaching, performance preparation and individual artistic development.
NEW YORK TRAINING
Bringing the Academy together in person.
Approximately once every five months, Kassiyet Arts offers focused in-person training in New York City.
These sessions create space for detailed physical correction, repertoire development, intensive practice and artistic exchange beyond the regular online classroom.
Participation is strongly encouraged, but general Academy students should consult each intensive’s specific participation requirements.
Dates are announced in advance through the Academy calendar and What’s On.
TRAINING EXPECTATIONS
Serious training can coexist with a full adult life.
Kassiyet Arts is designed for adult dancers who may also be balancing careers, families, travel and other responsibilities.
Students are encouraged to attend consistently, maintain an individual practice and take responsibility for material covered in class. We understand, however, that adult schedules and circumstances can change.
When a student needs to miss training, we ask that they communicate responsibly and make a reasonable effort to stay connected to the work.
Progress develops according to each dancer’s consistency, practice and individual circumstances. Students who are able to train more regularly may naturally progress more quickly.
Participation in New York intensives is strongly encouraged. Specific performance or professional-development opportunities may carry additional commitments that are communicated in advance

Group Academy Training
$1,200 / quarter
Three months of Academy training.
Individual Training with Kassiyet
$700 / month
Eight private classes per month.
Tuition confirms enrollment and is subject to Kassiyet Arts payment and cancellation policies.
